Her professional journey has taken her from managing hospitality venues and working in Pilbara mining camps to advising clients on complex commercial disputes. This depth of experience gives her a grounded, strategic approach that clients trust.
Catriona works closely with business owners and individuals to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. Her areas of practice include franchising, construction law, commercial property disputes, consumer law, restraint of trade, contract disputes and employment matters. She regularly represents clients before courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies such as the Building Commission and the State Administrative Tribunal.
A recognised leader in legal innovation, Catriona is passionate about improving how legal services are delivered. She served as co-chair of the inaugural Advisory Board of the College of Law’s Centre for Legal Innovation in Australasia, helping shape the future of the legal profession across Australia, New Zealand, and the US.
Catriona also contributes extensively to the legal and business community. She sits on boards including the Western Suburbs Business Association, the Piddington Society and the Subiaco Justice Centre. Her academic background includes two first class honours degrees, teaching at Murdoch Law School, and working with the WA Chief Justice and the Law Reform Commission.
In 2021, she was named Woman Lawyer of the Year by Women Lawyers of Western Australia, recognising her leadership and advocacy for justice and gender equity in the profession.
