The roles will best suit lawyers with at least 5 years PAE for Wills & Estates Lawyer and 3 years PAE for commercial lawyer.

Skills and experience & Key responsibilities
Wills, Estates & Succession Planning
- At least 5+ years’ post admission experience or demonstrated ability to perform at a similarly high level.
- Interest in developing and being a part of an established and respected wills, succession planning practice.
- Draft complex wills, including testamentary trust wills.
- Prepare Enduring Powers of Attorney and Enduring Powers of Guardianship.
- Advise on and prepare variations to trust deeds and deeds appointing successor controllers.
- Advise on and prepare binding death benefit nominations.
- Advise on estate planning and business succession strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of estate litigation and dispute resolution files independently, with appropriate supervision and support from senior practitioners.
- Conduct initial client consultations and provide preliminary legal advice.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, court documents, legal correspondence and advice.
- Conduct legal research and prepare written and oral legal advice.
- Instruct and liaise with barristers and expert witnesses as required.
- Ability to train, supervise and mentor junior staff.
Commercial
- At least 3+ years’ post admission experience.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, terms and conditions, and commercial agreements.
- Banking and finance matters.
- Corporate structuring, trusts, and business reorganisations.
- Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.
- Property-related transactions and commercial leasing matters.
- Supporting senior management and stakeholders with timely, pragmatic legal counsel on commercial and property matters.
- Interested in business development opportunities and keen to commit to same.
- Confident to manage files across a wide range of commercial law matters.
- Strategic thinker – ability to consider and come up with ideas and solutions.
