Alison brings experience, empathy and focus to every family law matter. Alison is a dedicated family lawyer who supports clients through complex and often emotionally challenging legal issues with clarity and care. She has practiced exclusively in family law since 2009 and has extensive experience across all aspects of the field.
Originally admitted to practice in Victoria in 2006, Alison worked in both commercial litigation and family law before returning to Western Australia. She joined Cullen Macleod in 2017 as a Senior Associate and regularly appears in the Family Court of Western Australia.
Alison assists clients with a wide range of family law matters, including property settlements for married, de facto, and same-sex couples, spousal and adult child maintenance, binding financial agreements and child support arrangements. She also advises on parenting matters, including relocation and negotiating care arrangements in the best interests of children.
She is experienced in resolving disputes through mediation and negotiation, while also providing strong representation in court when needed. Alison regularly works with third parties involved in financial or parenting matters and provides clear guidance on interpreting and enforcing existing court orders and financial agreements.
