SENIOR SOLICITOR/HEAD OF PRACTICE – FAMILY LAW

PERMANENT FULL TIME POSITION

About the role

We have an opportunity for a senior lawyer or Head of Practice to join our Family Law team. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with our Head of Practice, Rebecca Bunney, to help develop and lead the family law team. The role will best suit a senior lawyer (ideally at least 5 years PAE +) with strengths, or interest to develop, in complex family law, business development and training and mentoring less experienced lawyers.

Cullen Macleod is a 18 lawyer law firm, with 5 specialist areas that will allow you to collaborate with our other 4 specialist teams to develop your practice, including property and wills and succession planning.  We have a professional reputation as a legal firm of choice, and an employer of choice. Skills and experience

Key selection criteria:

  • At least 5+ years’ post admission experience or demonstrated ability to perform at a similarly high level.
  • Interest in developing and leading a respected family law practice.
  • Interested in business development opportunities and keen to commit to same.
  • Confident to manage files across a wide range of family law matters.
  • Strategic thinker – ability to consider and come up with ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to train, supervise and mentor staff.
